Expressions of Faith: Bearing Fruit
In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.
(Colossians 1:6 NIV)
Bearing Fruit
Paul reminds the Colossians that the same Gospel they heard and believed is bearing fruit around the world.
It still is.
The key to me is that the fruit and understanding come after hearing and believing.
Right now there are groups of faithful Christians in hundreds of places around the world making sure some hear so they can understand.
