What happens to John Mark?
He leaves Paul and Barnabas.
He deserted them.
Observation.
In this section of text, Barnabas and Saul/Paul become Paul and Barnabas. Barnabas seems to be okay playing second fiddle.

Who invites Paul and Barny to speak?
The leader(s) of the synagogue.
Why would they do that?
It was a common way to hear new ideas and news in general.
Since Paul had been there before, maybe it was to try and trap him in his own words.

We spent considerable time ministering to an ailing class member by making a group phone call, discussing prayer requests, and praying.

Who invites Paul and Barny to speak? Why would they do that?
