Expressions of Faith: Hearing
In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.

Hearing
Paul reminds the Colossians that the same Gospel they heard and believed is bearing fruit around the world.
The key is:
Fruit and understanding come after hearing and believing.
Today, there are groups of Christians in diverse places around the world doing all they can to ensure some hear the Gospel who've never heard before.
Because you cannot understand without hearing or reading.

- Wycliffe teams translate God's Word into mother languages. Their goal is "seeing a Bible translation project started in every language still needing one by 2025."
- Jesus Film teams travel and show a video of the Gospel of Luke in over 1,600 languages, regardless of the venue or political situation.
- Faith Comes by Hearing teams dramatize Scripture by reading the text in much the same way that radio programs did in the pre-television era.
Because you cannot understand without hearing or reading.
