Expressions of Faith: Knowledge
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,

Knowledge
Too many people equate intelligence with knowledge.
You probably know a very smart person who has an in-depth level of understanding of a narrow topic, but very little knowledge beyond those topics.
At least as many people have limited or erroneous knowledge of God's will.
In the second part of verse 9, Paul describes how you can become knowledgeable of God's will.

The Holy Spirit provides both wisdom—to know something is both valuable and from God—and understanding—knowing not only the what but also the importance of what comes from God.
That's being knowledgeable of God's will.
The Holy Spirit is ready to help you.

It is up to you to be attentive to the Holy Spirit!
Ask God to help you hear the His voice and to be attentive to the teachings of the Holy Spirit.
