Expressions of Faith: Diet

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

(1 Peter 2:2-3 NIV)

Diet

In Verse 1, Peter says to rid ourselves of the bad actions (and their cause).

Now, he directs us to seek God's Spirit (milk).

The transition from being a "grown-up/mature" sinner to Christian requires a radical change in diet.

This is made easier by the fact that when we taste, we find that the taste of The Lord is good.

Help me to crave more pure spiritual milk!
