Expressions of Faith: When they see . . .

when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.

(1 Peter 3:2NIV)

When they see . . .

Peter's context is wives and husbands where pure lives where each member of the couple is revered by the other is clearly what we should strive for.

But, how might we impact those around us if we lived to this model for all our contacts?

At work—including the employee who always has an excuse when something goes wrong.
At school—where bullies and thoughtless words abound.
In the church—even with “that someone” who never has a good word to say about anyone.
In the neighborhood—yes, even that neighbor.

In reality, we shouldn’t be looking around at others. We should be asking,

“What do people "see" when they "look” at me?"
