Expressions of Faith: Meddlers

If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.

(1 Peter 4:15 NIV)

Meddlers

As I read this, what struck me was the inclusion of MEDDLER (KJV has busybody) in the list.

I more often think of meddlers causing some level of suffering rather than the other way around. 

It's very tempting to meddle.

After all, without the encumbrance of FACTS, who can't come up with "a better way"?

Next time you’re tempted to meddle, remember Peter’s opinion of such actions—lumped in with suffering criminals!
