Expressions of Faith: Deceit
I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.
(Colossians 2:4 NIV)
Deceit
Deception is all too common in the world.
Far too many leaders use lies disguised as fine-sounding arguments to attract, retain, and/or incense followers.
Quite often their purpose is to lure the unsuspecting away from God's truth.
We must be firmly rooted in God's Word so we can spot deceit and avoid being caught in it.
