All of You

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.

(1 Peter 3:8 NIV)

If I did just this verse, I would be a blessing to all.

Like-minded is a challenge—probably because we focus on the wrong things.

It's easier to be critical than sympathetic and much easier to judge than show compassion.

Surprisingly, it seem like showing humility might be the least challenging on this list.

Of course, that being said, maybe being humble is not as easy as I thought. I don’t think it was added as an afterthought.

I pray for God to grant Christians everywhere the grace to do this to everyone we meet.
