Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right.

Next Tuesday is Primary Election Day in California. In November, our country will elect a new President.
Often during the current trend of character smearing campaign ads it's hard to believe in Peter's admonition in vv13-14.
May we follow God and be sure to do what we have in our power to do to support our elected officials.
Help us as Christians in America to lead the return to our motto: In God We Trust.
