Expressions of Faith: Wearing Humility
Likewise, you who are younger and of lesser rank, be subject to the elders (the ministers and spiritual guides of the church)–[giving them due respect and yielding to their counsel]. Clothe (apron) yourselves, all of you, with humility [as the garb of a servant, so that its covering cannot possibly be stripped from you, with freedom from pride and arrogance] toward one another. For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)–[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble. [Prov. 3:34.]

Wearing Humility
This translation from the Amplified Bible provides a depth of meaning others I checked did not.
1. Elder refers to leaders as well as the aged
2. The idea that humility should be overt--servant's clothing--yet not demonstrated in a prideful manner is against the grain of society.
3. And look at the embarrassingly long list of descriptors for proud in the quoted Proverb.
Notice also, that the clothes (apron) we are directed to wear are those of a servant.
Christ did just that.
So should I.
So should we all.
Imagine a world like that.
Oh, wait!
It’s the Kingdom of God!
