Expressions of Faith: Hebrews Ch 2. Help's at Hand

For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

 Hebrews 2:17-18

Help’s at Hand

Did you ever get an offer for help from someone, only to find out that the helper knew less than you did about the problem?

Christ made certain that His help was based on experience, not theory.

      1.   He was made like His siblings—US.

      2.   He suffered.

      3.   He was tempted.

The end result is that you can get qualified help from Christ when

       ·      You’re hurting.

       ·      You’re being tempted.

       ·      You’re in any human situation!

Don’t be afraid—or too stubborn—to ask for His help.
