Expressions of Faith. Hebrews Ch 4. Confidence

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

Confidence

This verse adds to the reasons Christ is the ultimate mediator for us.

The addition of “approach the throne of grade with confidence” is significant.

We know:

1. Christ is God’s Son.

2. He suffered.

3. He endured all types of temptation—but did not sin.

Those qualifications for Jesus as the ultimate High Priest are unassailable.

Because of all Christ is, He provides mercy and grace in our times of need.

Be confident as you lift your prayers to Christ.
