Why were there giant empty jars “nearby?”

 

Is the wine in this miracle the same kind of wine bottled today?

 

Pretend you’re one of Jesus’ disciples and describe your reaction to this miracle.

 

Who’s this “master of the banquet?”

 

Why was it common to serve the choice wine first?

 

Why does John use the term “miraculous sign” instead of just “miracles.”

 

List examples of how Jesus used wedding illustrations in his ministry.

 

The final sentence in v11 is significant. Why?
